Bilingual Administrative Assistant

LFF Recycling – Sterling, VA

In this role, the Bilingual Administrative Assistant will help on the operations side of the business in a recycling facility. The ability to assist when necessary with items such as truck scales and HR personnel duties is a must. ***Resumes should reflect all duties and skills that pertain to this position***

Candidates that apply should have supervisory skills (1 year or more) with employees that have reported directly to them.


  • Reviews & Posts Daily weight tickets into computer, ensuring accuracy.
  • Assisting with Monthly Billing and reconciliation of Compactor tickets and other accounts.

We currently have a great opportunity available for a full-time Dispatcher in our Roll-Off department. The Roll-Off Dispatcher is responsible for providing support to the roll-off supervisor and drivers.

Qualifications: The Dispatcher position requires a High School Diploma/GED and a minimum of one year Customer Service and/or Dispatch experience.

Essential Functions:

  1. Maintains communication with driver’s throughout each work day, checking on operating status, work progress and providing solutions to operational issues as they arise.
  2. Answers incoming and outgoing customer communications by telephone, radio, fax, e-mail and mail, ensuring timely and accurate responses. Maintains accurate records of all communications.
  3. Manages daily routing to include assigning work to drivers, printing and distributing daily pull tickets with special instructions, checking in drivers and reviewing completed paperwork, and collecting and performing data entry.
  4. Learns, utilizes and develops dispatch methods that sustain drivers, provide a safe operating platform, and collect timely and accurate data for billing and management use.
  5. Communicate fully with operations management personnel, General Manager and sales staff to maximize revenue opportunities.
  6. The Dispatcher Assists with operating Roll-Off profit center by providing direct supervision to drivers to maximize driver pulls, and revenue per pull, minimizing hours per pull and costs per pull, and optimizing assets usage.

Operations Manager

Con-Serv Industries, Inc. (CSI) is a disposal and recycling company, located in Sterling, VA. We currently have a full-time opportunity for an Operations Manager.

The Operations Manager manages the daily operations and profitability of the hauling company. This position is responsible for efficient and safe work activities of all operations employees.

Reports To: V.P. Operations

Qualifications :

  • The Operations Manager candidate must have a minimum of 10 years industry experience
  • Must have a Class B CDL with airbrakes endorsement
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States for any employer
  • Successfully pass pre-employment (post offer) drug screen, background and motor vehicle records check and Department of Transportation Physical.

Responsibilities :

Rear Load Driver Supervisor

Con-Serv Industries Inc – Sterling, VA

The Rear Load Supervisor manages the daily operations and profitability of the Rear Load Department. This position is responsible for efficient and safe work activities of all Rear Load operations employees, which includes ensuring appropriate staffing levels.


  • Must be at least 21 years of age or older and legally eligible to work in the United States
  • Must have at least 2 years prior Rear End Driving Experience
  • Must have at least 2 years supervisory experience in the Waste Industry
  • Must possess a valid Class B CDL with airbrakes endorsement for the state of Virginia

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise Rear Load Drivers
  • Liaison to all customer complaints, questions on all aspects of collection services and requirements of the Rear Load department.
  • Solicit, recruit, interview and train Rear Load drivers and Helpers
  • Conduct route observations and resolve safety issues
  • Assess and investigate all accidents to include filling out and filing all necessary reports etc.
  • Perform safety meetings and report all minutes to the Safety Administrator
  • Perform daily safety, maintenance checks according to all relevant legislation, policies and procedures. Report any findings to the Mechanical Team for repair
  • Advise the Services Supervisor of any requirements for maintenance or repairs.
  • Manage the designing of routes to ensure efficiency
  • Ensure the transportation and disposal of waste/recycling is done according to set policies and procedures.
  • Develop and ensure excellence in safety, service and attendance.
  • Manage and execute DOT regulations in accordance with the FMCSR.

Outside Sales Representative

Con-Serv Industries Inc – Sterling, VA

We are looking for a self-starting, motivated Outside Sales professional to join our team to:

  • Consistently grow net revenues according to territory budget requirements by researching, planning, executing and evaluating sales efforts.
  • Develop and utilize salesmanship skills based on the Buying Values of customers.


  • AllOutside Sales Representative applicants should have at least 5 years of sales experience ( Industrial, Construction or Waste Industry Sales Experience preferred )
  • College degree is a plus

  • The Outside Sales Representative will develop and use skills to identify the Buying Values of customers — price, timeliness, quality, and fun.
  • Develop and use Sales Cycle skills — research, plan, execute, and evaluate.
  • Develop and use salesmanship skills to position company services in front of the Buying Values of customers and close deals that produce net revenues.
  • Coordinate roll-off resource usage with ISM and Dispatch Manager to maximize net revenue per pull and maximize number of monthly pulls.
  • Advise Dispatch Manager of customer problems with the intent of arranging permanent solutions for the customer and the roll-off dispatch system, as practical.
  • Track and exploit revenue opportunities in assigned market involving “new, existing and competitor” work.
  • Analyze sales data to determine existing pricing and utilize this information to properly price deals to produce increased gross revenues and profit margins in the market.
  • The Outside Sales Representative will manage large account temporary roll-off bidding and periodically advise management concerning market trends.

Diesel Mechanic

Job Responsibilities :

Minimum Requirements:

  • 1) Must have knowledge with Mack Truck repairs, Allison transmission and/or replacement, Air brake system, Hydraulic systems.
  • 2) Experience with Waste industry trucks preferred
  • 3) Experience with computer diagnostics is preferred
  • 4) Must possess own hand tools
  • 5) Be able to lift 50-100 lbs.

Diesel Technician Mechanic Job Duties:

  • Determines vehicle condition by conducting inspections and diagnostic tests; identifying worn and damaged parts.
  • Assists with road calls and performs required repairs
  • Keeps equipment available for use by completing preventive maintenance schedules; installing component and part upgrades; controlling corrosion; completing winterization procedures.
  • Corrects vehicle deficiencies by removing, repairing, adjusting, overhauling, assembling, disassembling, and replacing major assemblies, sub-assemblies, components, parts, or systems, such as, power and drive trains, electrical, air conditioning, fuel, emission, brake, steering, hydraulics; completes machine shop operations; making adjustments and alignments including bearing loads, gear tooth contact, valve mechanisms, governors, oil systems, control linkages, clutches, and traction units.
  • Verifies vehicle performance by conducting test drives; adjusting controls and systems.
  • Complies with federal and state vehicle requirements by testing engine, safety, and combustion control standards.
  • Maintains vehicle appearance by cleaning, washing, and painting.
  • Maintains vehicle records by annotating services and repairs.
  • Keeps shop equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance; calling for repairs.
